Our caregivers provide a wide range of daily personal services, including:
Bathing, Grooming and Hygiene
Respectful assistance with bathing, dressing, hair styling, toileting and other general hygiene needs.
Meal Preparation
Individual preferences, dietary restrictions an the importance of nutrition are always considered.
Medication Reminders and Safety Supervision
We ensure that all medication is taken promptly and in accordance with the physician’s orders. Caregivers also provide general supervision and ambulatory assistance to ensure safety and well-being.
Companionship
Freedom from loneliness is crucial to mental health. At Heart and Hand we are all “family” who provide conversation, entertainment and daily emotional support.
Housekeeping
Basic everyday household chores are performed regularly. From personal laundry service and room cleaning, to linen changing.
Family Respite
We make it possible for family members to take time off worry-free by taking care of everything so they can attend to their own needs, enjoy periodic breaks or a much-needed vacation.
